Wan Hai Lines held ship naming ceremonies for three containerships, which are all certified with “Smart Ship” notations.
These are the first three vessels in the series of 3,013 teu containerships built by Japan Marine United Corporation. The ships are certified with “Smart Ship” notations. This allows the ships to enable remote operation of vessel functions and integrate automation systems performing data acquisition and analysis.
The 1st vessel will be delivered in end of August, 2022 and deployed in ASIA AMERICA SERVICE.

Wan Hai Lines said.
The ships will also feature a Ballast Water Treatment System and Alternative Maritime Power, which aims to make their operation even greener.
