The US Coast Guard in cooperation with commercial salvage, rescued 10 people on board a disabled and adrift vessel Monday 9 miles west of Bimini, Bahamas.
Watchstanders at US Coast Guard 7th District command center received a notification of the 28-foot pleasure craft from commercial salvage company. The watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and deployed the US Coast Guard Cutter Paul Clark crew.

The cutter ‘Paul Clark’ arrived on the scene of the incident and embarked eight people aboard the cutter with no reported injuries. The US Coast Guard Cutter ‘William Flores’ also arrived on scene and embarked two more people.
The cutter ‘William Flores’ transferred the two people to a commercial salvage vessel, which took the disable pleasure craft in tow.
The cutter ‘Paul Clar’k will return to Miami with the other eight people.
