A Liberia-flagged tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile in the Red Sea on 10 October, causing minor damage but no casualties.
The incident occurred roughly 73 nautical miles southwest of Yemen’s port of Hodeidah while the vessel was en route from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Muscat, Oman. The projectile hit the tanker on its starboard side, specifically the bridge, with two more projectiles detonating nearby a few hours later.

According to Reuters, security firm Ambrey linked the attack to the Houthi rebels. Despite the tanker sustaining damage, no fires or injuries were reported. UKMTO noted that investigations are ongoing.
