Wärtsilä provides bunkering systems for Vitol's new LNG bunkering vessel built at the Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering.

ZeroNorth, Vitol and the port of Rotterdam have completed a first digital bunker delivery, marking the launch of a four-week trial.

ZeroNorth is now providing its eBDN (electronic bunker delivery note) solution on 12 barges operated by Vitol Bunkers in Singapore for supply to its shipping customers.

V-bunkers are collaborating with ZeroNorth to enhance the efficiency of the bunkering process in Singapore through digitalisation.

Vitol has began constructing a small oil refinery at its storage terminal in Malaysia, aiming to supply low-sulphur fuel for vessels. The project is expected to be completed in May 2020.  The project includes a crude distillation unit that can process 30,000 barrels per day of crude.

During the 19th International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas in Shanghai, Novatek Gas & Power Asia, a trading subsidiary of PAO Novatek and Vitol S.A. announced the signing of Heads of Agreement for the supply of LNG. The agreement ensures a 15-year contract with annual supply of one million tons of LNG from the Arctic LNG 2 project as well as other Novatek’s projects.

Noble Group announced the completion of sale of its oil business to Vitol. Noble Group’s Global Oil Liquids business was primarily conducted through NAC. However, the company said that the net proceeds were lower than expected.
