Lloyd's Register has issued an article to remind that shipowners and operators of ships of 5,000gt and above,  are required to submit annual fuel oil consumption data to their Flag Administration or a recognised organisation nominated by the flag.

Following Brexit, the UK no longer has access to the EU’s THETIS-MRV database. The UK is developing a database that can receive MRV data, but this is not expected to be ready until 2025.
