Two incidents of armed robbery against ships (one CAT 4 and one attempted incident) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 30th January - 5th February 2024.

Two incidents of piracy and armed robbery against ships (one CAT 1 and one CAT 4) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 23rd and 29th January 2024. 

No incident of piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia was reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 16th – 22nd January 2024.

Two incidents of armed robbery against ships (one CAT 2 and one attempted) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 11th and 15th January 2023.

Two incidents of armed robbery against ships (both CAT 3) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 2nd and 10th January 2024.

According to ReCAAP ISC, a total of 100 incidents of ARAS were reported in Asia in 2023. There was no piracy incident reported in Asia for 2023. 

Over the past week, no incident of piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia was reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 26 December 2023 and New Year's day.

Over the past week, no incident of piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia was reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 19 – 25 December 2023.

Two actual incidents of armed robbery against ships (both CAT 4) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 12th – 18th December 2023.
