Port Canaveral announces record breaking results

On 31st of October, Port Canaveral announced record-breaking results from all operations, as well as new high-water marks for the Port’s major business lines of cruise and cargo. More cruise guests than ever chose to do multi-day vacations at Port Canaveral in 2018, as the number of passenger movements increased by 327,489 to 4,568,431 in 2018, a 7.7% increase over last year.

New service contract for the Port of Bellingham

Global cargo ships are expected to arrive at the Bellingham Shipping Terminal on a regular basis in consequence of a new service contract between the Port of Bellingham and Ports America.The port is in the process of designating the shipping terminal and surrounding areas as a Foreign Trade Zone, where customers can store goods without having to pay United States import duties and taxes.

Puerto Bolívar to receive 24 new cranes

Yilport Puerto Bolívar has ordered 6 ship-to-shore cranes and 18 electrified rubber-tired gantry cranes. The cranes will be delivered in three shipments to support rising volumes and modernization plans of Yilport Puerto Bolívar. 2 STS cranes and 6 RTG cranes will be delivered in the last quarter of 2019. The second and third deliveries to include 4 STS and 12 RTG cranes will be shipped in the first half of 2020.
