A new industry partnership has been formed to develop a next-generation service operation vessel (SOV) for floating offshore wind projects.

Norwind Offshore has received the Norwind Storm, an advanced offshore windfarm support vessel, four weeks ahead of schedule on July 18, 2024, departing from the shipyard on July 22, 2024. This vessel is one of five CSOVs in a series designed by Vard Group for Norwind.
