Norwegian ship yard Fjellstrand AS has signed a contract with Norwegian ferry operator Fjord1 for the building of a new ZeroCatTM 120 energy-efficient car ferry. The full electrical ferry has been developed by Fjellstrand, and it will be presented in detail at Nor-Shipping.

Norwegian maritime cluster "NCE Maritime CleanTech" is going to participate at this year’s Nor-Shipping Conference, where it will present environmentally friendly concepts and solutions that have the potential to transform sea transportation.

The Norwegian government has submitted a white paper on transportation on 5 April 2017, confirming the funding for the Stad Ship Tunnel among other proposals.
