A drone has revealed the length of underwater Nord Stream pipeline that could only have been caused by one or more massive underwater explosions, according to experts.

A crime scene investigation of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines from Russia to Europe discovered evidence of detonations, strengthening suspicions of "gross sabotage", according to Sweden's Security Service.

Norway will receive help from Britain, Germany and France to patrol the seas around its oil and gas platforms due to suspicion that sabotage caused leaks in Nord Stream pipelines.

Due to the damage to the Nord Stream gas lines in the Baltic Sea, an enormous amount of methane gas has been released into the atmosphere. The leak is estimated to equal the size of a whole year's methane emissions for a city the size of Paris or a country like Denmark.
