Two actual incidents of armed robbery against ships (one CAT 2 and one CAT 4) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 14th - 20th November 2023. 

Over the past week, no incident of piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia was reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 8th – 13rd November 2023.

The Ship Registration of Cyprus recommends measures to ensure the security of vessels under the Cyprus Flag which are calling or approaching ports in Israel.

According to the Israel Tax Authority Compensation Fund, compensation will be awarded for "War Damage" to any Israeli or foreign vessel that is situated within the Economic Waters of the State of lsrael.
