It is very common that Somali pirates attack ships in revenge for illegal fishing by foreigners. Thus, Somali officials recently said that NATO must do more in order to prevent the illegal fishing that sparked the latest picacy attack on Aris 13.

The U.S. Department of Transportation has welcomed the newest vessel to the Maritime Security Program (MSP) in the strategic port of Beaumont, Texas. Renamed the M/V Liberty Passion, the vessel is the third ship owned by Liberty Global Logistics to join the MSP fleet.
