Read moreTriple - E is the world's largest ship and will be delivered to Maersk at end of June 2013 An official website has been created to follow the journey into the contruction of Triple-E. These giant vessels will reduce CO2 emissions by about 50% per container moved. On the dedicated Tripl-E website, you may see how energy efficiency, economy of scale and the environment inspired their design.You may also view video produced by the Discovery Channel showing every phase of buidling the 400-meter long Triple-E vessel; from the design of the vessels unique hull to the construction of the Triple-E's enormous engines and propellers, from the environmental improvements and safety systems to the ship's naming ceremony and maiden voyage on the Asia-Europe route. All angles relating to the ships design, build and launch will be covered - with many sequences in 3D.
