Port of Ferrol accommodates LNG supply operations for the first time

The port of Ferrol has hosted liquefied natural gas (LNG) refueling operations to ships that use this product as fuel, instead of fuel oil or diesel oil. The two operations were performed on February 23 and 24 respectively. They were carried out on the outer jetty, which is the dock of the inner dock where small and medium-sized cruise ships usually dock when they visit the city.

Lithuania’s LNG regas volumes report mixed results in January

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification volumes at Lithuania’s first and only import terminal in the port of Klaipeda reported mixed results for the first month of the year. Klaipedos Nafta, the terminal operator, published its monthly report according to which the facility regasified and reloaded 0.47 Twh of natural gas, 79.1% above the 0.26 TWh in the same month in 2018.
