Piraeus Port Authority was awarded double certification against ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 by Lloyd’s Register. These certifications congratulate the Port of Piraeus for its quality, environmental management and pollution prevention. The certifications were awarded on June 6 during Posidonia.

MOL announced that on July 20, its core dry-cargo ship management company, MOLSHIP received a new certification of its Environmental Management System ISO14001: 2015 and Energy Management System ISO50001 from ClassNK, after undergoing stringent transition audit and renewal audit processes.

After an intensive 10-month review and upgrade of operating processes across the company, Gibdock has made the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to the new ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard, and from ISO 14001:2008 to the ISO 14001:2015 environmental standard.

Damen has announced that a number of Damen Shiprepair & Conversion yards have recently or will soon achieve new ISO certifications as part of an ongoing initiative to standardise operating procedures across the group.

Meeting all requirements regarding quality, safety and the environment, Damen Shipyards Antalya has secured comprehensive ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. This achievement coincides with a period of rapid expansion that has seen the addition of three new production halls within the space of two years.

RINA Services recently awarded Carnival Maritime GmbH ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 certificates. Now the Carnival Maritime office in Hamburg as well as 26 ships in Carnival Maritime’s fleet have been awarded environmental management and safety management certifications.

Lines, Ltd.  announced that its group ship management company for dry bulkers, Magsaysay MOL Ship Management, Inc.  has acquired certifications from Nihon Kaiji Kyokai for Energy Management Systems (ISO50001) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001) on June 18. MMSM's certifications cover ship management of bulk carriers and other cargo ships, as well as office operations onshore. MOL Ship Management Co., Ltd.  acquired the same certificates in July 2014, followed by MOL Ship Management (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.  and New Asian Shipping Company Ltd. With MMSM's acquisition in this time, all 4 MOL Group ship management companies for dry bulkers have earned ISO50001 and ISO14001 certification.
