Egypt’s Suez Canal will reduce rebates on canal tolls for liquefied natural gas carriers from Jan. 1 till June 30 2022.
Namely LNG tankers operating between the American Gulf and the Arabian Gulf, as well as ports from western India to the port of Kochi: rebate of 30% of Suez Canal normal tolls.
What is more, Eastern ports to the port of Kochi to Singapore: rebate of 55% of Suez Canal normal tolls. Singapore and its eastern ports: a rebate of 70% of Suez Canal normal tolls.
To remind, Suez Canal Authority recently released a safety circular concerning additional dues that will be applied in case of the elevator malfunction and disallowing pilots to use the internal stairs.
