An order has been placed by Sirius Shipping for four 7999 dwt Oil/Chemical tankers at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard, Dingheng.
According to Sirius Shipping, the vessels will be equipped with highly efficient propulsion systems and will incorporate the latest technology to ensure compliance with future regulations. These new will also feature lower fuel consumption and advanced low-emission technologies.

They will include a 420 kWh Hybrid Battery for peak shaving on both the main engine and auxiliary engines. Additionally, a 1000 kW Shore Power system will be installed, enabling zero-emission loading and discharging in port.
