The Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) recently accepted the first shipment of advanced terminal equipment, including terminal trucks and trailers. Specifically, the new equipment will give a boost to the port and quay operations located at the Northern Part of Jeddah Islamic Port (JIP).
In fact, the equipment’s delivery came under the RSGT’s 30-year deal with the Saudi Port Authority (Mawani) with a value of $1.76 billion, concerning the development of the Northern Part of Jeddah Islamic Port.
For the records, under the agreement, the Red Sea Gateway Terminal will have an initial investment of $266.7 million.

The new terminal trucks and trailers are installed with the latest and modernized safety features, increasing the productivity and the performance at the operations of JIP, on of the largest and busiest ports in Saudi Arabia.
