Japanese company Tokyo Gas signed an agreement regarding the sale and purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with Sumitomo Joint Electricity Power. The two partners aim to boost LNG as a fuel in the area, while also promote it as a stable and efficient use of energy.
The agreement indicates that Tokyo Gas will supply about 170,000 tonnes of LNG annually to Sumitomo Joint Electricity Power for a period of 5 years extending from FY 2021 to FY 2025.
Moreover, both companies will build connections with the community and play an important role on the development of the Shikoku area by promoting the use of LNG and the stable and efficient use of energy, by providing a stable supply of LNG under this agreement.
Concluding, both companies will proceed on discussions aimed at the signing of a final sales and purchase contract as part of this agreement.
