After failing PSC inspection
The UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (UK MCA) announced that nine foreign flagged ships were under detention in UK ports during December 2014 after failing Port State Control (PSC) inspection.
During December, there were four new detentions of foreign flagged vessels in a UK port. Five vessels remained under detention from previous months and five vessels were released during December. A total of four vessels remain under detention at the end of December.
