The UK P&I Club has issued navigation warning of the Traffic Separation Scheme in the Singapore Strait following the recent incident :
” Members are advised of an incident, which occurred on Wednesday 16th December in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme (TSS) in the Singapore Strait. A chemical tanker and freighter collided resulting in damage to the chemical tanker while the freighter sank. There is no disruption to shipping traffic in the Singapore Strait and the Maritime Port Authority have issued the following chart detailing the location of the vessel.”
