Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP), the Scandinavian port operator, joined forces with TradeLens to enable the port modernize manual workflows and procedures.
Specifically, the port aims to update its workflow and ensure seamless collaborations between actors with the logistics chain.
Referring to the port’s step, Povl Dolleris Røjkjær Ungar, COO of Copenhagen Malmö Port commented that
TradeLens offers a platform that enables, via innovative blockchain technology, a more secure and transparent cooperation in the logistics chain – thus benefiting all stakeholders by optimising traditional workflows.
To better explain, the blockchain technology is a system which secures the exchange of unique information that cannot be copied or manipulated.
Recently, Port of Los Angeles joined TradeLens to modernize and replace manual and paper-based documents with blockchain-enabled (digital record-keeping) solutions.
