Gasum, a Finnish expert in natural energy gases, is renaming Skangas company since by October it holds the 100% of Skangas company.
Gasum increased its shareholding from 70% to 100% in October 2018. The acquisition is part of the Gasum strategy, a core element of which is to develop the Nordic gas market and the LNG infrastructure. Following the integration process, Skangas is renamed Gasum at the latest by 3rd December 2018.
Moreover, by changing its name, it aims to enhance the Gasum brand in the Nordic countries and make Gasum a leading provider of LNG in the region.
All Skangas companies will be renamed to Gasum. However, the business ID codes or contact details are not to be altered.
Gasum imports natural gas to Finland, products and upgrades biogas in Finland and Sweden and transports and delivers these for energy production, industry, homes, and land and maritime transport. Gasum belongs to the Finnish state and has its head office in Espoo, Finland. Also, the company employs more than 400 employees.
Finally, the alter of the name will be established in Norway, Sweden and Finland on the 3rd December 2018, following each country registry offices’ approval. The company highlighted that the customers, the suppliers and the stakeholders will be informed for the change.
