42 countries in the White List, 20 countries in the Grey List, and 17 countries in the Black List
Starting from 2009, for the fourth successive year, Lithuania remains listed in the respectable White List of Maritime Organisations, the Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
This was confirmed at the Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MoU) Committee meeting held in Riga, Latvia, writes LETA/ELTA.
This year Latvia moved from the Gray List to the White List. In total there are 42 countries in the White List, 20 countries in the Grey List, and 17 countries in the Black List. The White, Grey and Black Lists are approved every year.
