Butyl acrylate leak from damaged tank container
“K” Line confirms that a tank container was damaged while cargo aboard M/V Pearl River Bridge was being discharged at Laem Chabang Port, Thailand on July 17.
Following this incident, the containership was removed to a safe area outside the port in order to clean the leaked butyl acrylate.
While there were reports that some people experienced adverse effects from the leakage, this matter is still being investigated by all parties involved in order to determine further facts.
