Marine Environment Protection Committee, Hamburg Ministry of Urban Development and Environment and the Trident Alliance are confirmed as keynote speakers for the 37th Motorship Propulsion and Emissions Conference!
Arsenio Dominguez, Chairman of IMO’s Marine Environment Protection Committee has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at the forthcoming Propulsion and Emissions Conference which is focusing on the recently introduced ECA 0.1% regulations.
Joining Mr Dominguez will be Hendrick Hollstein, Manager Air Pollution, Hamburg Ministry of Urban Development and Environment and Tor Øyvind Ask of the Trident Alliance, a recently formed group of some 40 plus shipowners who are aiming to pursue a range of different solution strategies to bring about robust and transparent enforcement of the existing and forthcoming emission regulations.
Furthermore Lars Robert Pedersen, Deputy Secretary General of BIMCO, will once again chair the conference which is being held on 4-5 March 2015 at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski, Hamburg.
The long running Propulsion & Emissions Conference is now firmly established as the conference for ship owners & industry professionals wishing to update themselves on regulatory issues and technological solutions.
Following a highly successful 2014 event which saw more than 170 delegates from 19 countries come together in Hamburg, the 2015 Conference, which is being held on 4-5 March 2015 at the Atlantic Kempinski Hotel in Hamburg, and will provide initial operational and port state control authority feedback on working within the new sulphur limits is entitled ‘Keeping 2020 firmly insight’.
