IMO issues guidelines for Flag States for the use of PCASP onboard ships in high risk area

MSC. 1/Circ. 1406

18-05 IMO head tells UN.jpgIMO has issued a circular, MSC. 1/Circ. 1406, regarding recommendations for flag states regarding the use of privately contracted armed security personnel (PCASP)on board ships in the high-risk area.

The Circular should be read in conjunction with the related one regarding selection and employment of PCASP onboard vessels.
