The Japan P&I Club informs about the ice condition at ports of Dalian, China and warns that some ports are ice free such as Heshangdao, Xingang, and Beiliang whereas in some ports such as Changxindao terminal floating ice exists.
The Club says that there is no ice breaker at Dalian ports, only big tugs are used as ice breaker to break the big pieces of ice when vessel entering/leaving the port. The following circular includes ice forecasting for Liaodong Bay, and more details and photos.
