A crude oil tanker, the Delta Blue, reported four attacks off Yemen’s port of Mokha over 24 hours on 8 August.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that the captain of the Delta Blue noted that two small boats approached and fired a rocket-propelled grenade that exploded near the vessel, which was about 45 nautical miles south of Mokha. The UKMTO later reported additional attacks, including one from an uncrewed surface vessel and another missile strike that occurred nearby.

According to Reuters, despite these incidents, Delta Tankers confirmed that both the ship and its crew are safe and the vessel is continuing its journey.
Earlier, the Houthi movement said it had attacked another Greek-owned container ship in the Red Sea and two U.S. destroyers in the Gulf of Aden, Reuters reports. The attacks were not confirmed by CENTCOM or the vessel’s manager, which said the ship and its crew were safe.
