Improving transit time as well as coverage
In response to market demand, members of the G6 Alliance announced the below enhancements, which will improve Asia North America (Pacific Southwest) transit time as well as coverage.
Additional Pusan call to CC2 (Central China 2)
Service The CC2 service will be upgraded to include a permanent Pusan call. Transit times from other origins will remain unchanged.
The new port rotation will be as follows:
Ningbo Shanghai Pusan Long Beach Ningbo
Effective from the following voyage: OOCL Kuala Lumpur OKL 075E, ETA Ningbo June 28, 2015, and ETA Long Beach July 16, 2015
Additional Kaohsiung call to SC1 (South China 1) Service
The SC1 service will be upgraded to include an additional eastbound Kaohsiung call.
The new port rotation will be as follows:
Xiamen Chiwan Yantian Kaohsiung Los Angeles Oakland Kaohsiung – Xiamen
Effective from the following voyage: APL Houston AHT 008E, ETA Xiamen July 1, 2015, and ETA Los Angeles July, 20, 2015
The G6 Alliance offers a variety of services between Asia and Europe, between Asia and North America, and across the Atlantic covering all major port pairs with weekly sailings.
The G6 Alliance members include APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and Orient Overseas Container Line.
