Electronic Navigational Charts Viewer by Geomaris
The Geomaris ENC Viewer is a tool for displaying unencrypted Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs)available in the S-57 exchange format. S-57 dataset files which are also termed “cells”, are imported into the viewer’s dataset repository and can then be selected for display.
ENC data is displayed in compliance with the ECDIS Presentation Library Edition 3.4 which is defined by the International Hydrographic Office (IHO) in the special publication S-52.
The viewer demonstrates the capabilities and performance characteristics of the GPU based rendering engineDespina which forms the basis of the e-Navigation Kernel SDK from Geomaris.
