Contracts for oil spill and vessel detection services
In August EMSA signed five new framework contracts of amaximum value of 24 M for the provision of satellite radarimages and oil spill and vessel detection services.
Contractshave been signed with Kongsberg Satellite Services AS (KSAT)Norway, Collecte Localisation Satellites (CLS), France, e-GEOSS.p.A, Italy, Edisoft S.A. Portugal and MDA Geospatial ServicesInc. Canada.
These contracts will supply CleanSeaNet, and otherEMSA integrated maritime services, with worldwide near realtime delivery of radar satellite images and state-of-the-art vesseldetection and oil spill detection
