136 kilos of cocaine were seized from ‘Kota Lukis’ cargo ship while docked in Manzanillo port, Mexico. The huge amount of cocaine found in one of its containers is said to have originated from a consignment sent from Columbia, according to fleetmon.com
The consignment was placed in a container supposedly carrying only electric showers. The cargo was arranged inside three suitcases that came from Buenaventura Colombia and it was to be delivered to Mexico, mfame.guru discloses.
The vessel and crew were not considered as suspects and further investigation is underway. The vessel left Manzanillo port on October 16th after clearing the cocaine container.
