To enter into force on January 2014
The Hong Kong Marine Department has issued Merchant Shipping Information Note o promulgate IMO resolution MSC.327(90) and to advise theparties concerned of the amendments to the International Code for Fire Safety Systems (FSSCode) relating to the requirements of the Fixed Foam Fire-Extinguishing Systems and theAutomatic Sprinkler, Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems in chapters 6 and 8 of the FSSCode respectively. The amendments will enter into force on 1 January 2014.
These amendments modify the requirements of the Fixed Foam Fire-ExtinguishingSystems and the Automatic Sprinkler, Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems in chapters 6 and 8of the FSS Code respectively
