Saudi Aramco has successfully responded to a minor fire incident at its oil terminal facility in Ras Tanura on September 20.
Emergency fire services have fully contained the fire and workers in the facility have been evacuated. It is reported that eight workers have sustained injuries as a result of the fire, including six contractors and two employees. The injured have received medical treatment.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. The Company will conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause.
Saudi Aramco oil and gas operations were not impacted as a result of the incident. The Company will release additional information as it becomes available.
