At SMM Hamburg, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) unveiled a groundbreaking advancement in maritime engineering, with the debut of the world’s largest container ship, the GREEN SEALION 27500.
This massive vessel, boasting an unprecedented capacity of 27,500 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEU), marks a new milestone. The GREEN SEALION 27500 is a dual-fuel vessel powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), meeting IMO Phase III carbon reduction standards and setting a benchmark for eco-friendly marine transport.
The ship not only maximizes cargo capacity but also features a highly optimized hull design to enhance fuel efficiency.
