The 781 passengers of the cruise ship Westerdam have tested negative for coronavirus, the Cambodian Ministry of Health announced. This completes the guests’ testing, the owner company Holland America informed.
However, the ship will remain alongside in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, for at least a few more days until testing is complete on the 747 crew members onboard.
These results provide the required clearance for remaining guests in Cambodia to begin their onward journey home. The company is working to finalize arrangements for everyone. Those who traveled home previously will be contacted by their local health department and provided further information,

Holland America Line’s Westerdam cruise ship was repeatedly denied entrance in several ports after allegations that passengers have been infected by Coronavirus, which has resulted to the vessel for Sihanoukville, Cambodia.
On February 14, Holland America Line’s cruise ship Westerdam finally disembarked its passengers in Cambodia’s coastal city Sihanoukville following the company’s updates that the 20 samples taken from passengers onboard the vessel were confirmed as negative.
Following disembark , a female passenger was tested positive for the coronavirus in Malaysia.
