EIA finds that sales of bunker fuel in Singapore, the world’s largest bunkering fuel port, have increased to all-time highs, indicating increased global consumption as cargo ships, tankers, and other marine vessels take longer routes to avoid the Red Sea.

A research project which brings together The Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES), Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd and Metis will evaluate the real impacts of the alternative fuels offered to solve shipping’s decarbonization dilemma.
