ISO 14001: final draft of revision expected in June
The ISO Technical Committee, ISO/TC 207/WG 5, which is responsible for the revision of international environment management system standard ISO 14001, concluded their meeting in Chiswick, UK on Friday 24 April and has made significant progress towards the publication of ISO 14001:2015. During the latest meeting, the review of remaining comments which were received from the Draft International Standard (DIS) stage was completed and based upon this, it is expected that the Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) will be published in June 2015 for the two month voting period to commence until August 2015. Based upon these timescales, it is currently expected that ISO 14001:2015 will be available in September 2015.
