Damen congratulated Reylaver on the safe arrival and naming ceremony of the new ASD Tug 2411 Jesus. In order to reach her owners, the vessel undertook, on her own keel, a significant voyage covering 10.500 nautical miles.

Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam (DSAm) has concluded major modification works on the Sea Installer. The principle scope of work involved the extension of the main crane boom, giving the A2SEA-owned offshore wind farm installation vessel increased reaching capacity: a pertinent point considering the trend of the increasing size of offshore wind turbine components.

Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) has taken delivery of the Sauger III, a custom floating pump station by Damen Shipyards Group for supporting dredging operations. Situated 110 km inland on the River Elbe and with a tidal range of 3.6 metres, the Hamburg Port requires regularly dredging like most ports. 37 metres in length and 10 metres wide, the station features a powerful, dual pump installation and comfortable accommodation for the crew.

Damen has designed the first of a new class of Damen utility vessel UV2410, which is expected to start construction shortly.This multi-role platform is the result of extensive consultation with customers active in the aquaculture industry in the UK and Norway.

Damen Schelde, part of Damen Shipyards Group, has officially signed a contract for designing and building Australia’s new icebreaker, amounting to a $1.912 billion investment, with the custom built ship due to arrive in Australia in mid-2020.

The first of a series of three ASD TUGs 2810 Hybrid was navigated into the Den Helder harbour by the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) . This hybrid tug that bears the name Noordzee is almost 29 meters long and is the first standard hybrid tug supplied by Damen that the RNLN will employ.
