Following Hapag-LLoyd and Maersk, MOL today also announced its decision to install Starlink satellite communication service on all its vessels.

Maersk is embarking on a collaboration with Starlink so that more than 330 container vessels will have high-speed internet, with speeds over 200 Mbps.

In its Q2 2023 Seafarers Happiness Index report, the Mission to Seafarers noted that the percentage of happiness about seafarers’ ability to keep fit and healthy on board, has fallen to 6.9 from 7.1

The Mission to Seafarers published the findings of its Q2 2023 Seafarers Happiness Index report. The data from Q2 2023 show a significant drop in overall happiness to 6.77/10, down from 7.1/10 in Quarter 1.
