On 24 February 2017, 'Honor' was underway in the English Channel, when a fire broke out in the upper vehicle deck. The fire was extinguished by the crew using the vessel’s CO2 fixed firefighting system. The accident resulted in one injury and extensive damage, of more than $700,000, to the Honor’s hold as well its cargo.

The European Commission found that the Chilean CSAV, the Japanese K Line, MOL and NYK, and the Norwegian-Swedish WWL-EUKOR participated in a cartel concerning intercontinental maritime transport of vehicles, and imposed a total fine of €395 million. All companies acknowledged their involvement in the cartels and agreed to settle the cases.

The new class-post-Panamax RoRo vessel 'MOL Brooklands' became the first of its kind to call on the American Port Canaveral. With a 125-foot beam and capacity to transport over 7,400 vehicles, the ship is also the largest Post-Panamax vessel to call on the Port.

Korean-based Hyundai Glovis acquired Eusu Ship Management crew agency in an effort to boost company’s competitiveness, according to local sources. The agreement is expected to enhance management and operational efficiency, as well as save cost for the logistics company which is part of the South Korean conglomerate Hyundai Motor Group.
