A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between HAMR Energy, the Port of Melbourne, Maersk, ANL (a subsidiary of CMA-CGM), Svitzer, Stolthaven Terminals, and ABEL Energy to explore the commercial feasibility of establishing a green methanol bunkering hub at the Port of Melbourne.

HMM has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with LOTTE Fine Chemical which covers the bunkering of ammonia and methanol fuel.

Proman Stena Bulk, the joint venture between tanker company Stena Bulk and methanol producer Proman, has today announced the successful completion of the first ever barge-to-ship methanol bunkering on the US Gulf Coast.

On 26th March 2023, ZIM and Shell International Petroleum Company Limited, announced the successful bunkering of the ZIM SAMMY OFER container vessel with liquefied natural gas (LNG). This vessel was bunkered at Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited (KFTL).

On March 24th, Maersk international shipping signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) on green methanol bunkering.

Maritime Port Authority of Singapore (MPA Singapore) has released a circular to remind to all vessels that are supplying and receiving bunkers in the Port of Singapore, measures to prevent pollution.
