The LNG bunker barge, will have a 4,000 cubic meters LNG capacity and will be owned and constructed by Q-LNG, while the operations will be managed by New Orleans-based Harvey Gulf International Marine. The vessel willbegin its construction at VT Halter Marine in Pascagoula, Mississippi, in the beginning of 2018.

ABS and GasLog LNG Services have completed a joint development project, revealing a new approach to evaluating LNG boil-off rate. Accurate assessment of the rate of LNG boil-off gas generation is critical for the design of the cargo tank and the boil-off gas processing system.
ABS has granted Approval in Principle for a floating LNG power plant and Floating Storage and Regasification Unit design concept developed by Japan’s Chiyoda Corporation. The concept offers a new approach to delivering new sources of power to remote areas of the world.

ABSG Consulting Inc., a subsidiary of ABS, has been contracted by Kinder Morgan, Inc. to develop a Maintenance and Integrity Program for the LNG regasification terminal at Elba Island (Elba LNG Project) near Savannah, Georgia.
