Three crewmembers found in Hurghada port, five missing
Three survivors from the crew of a sunken ship at Hurghada port were found Sunday, but five people were unaccounted fo according to reports.
The rescue team in Hurghada found 3 survivors from the 8-member crew of the Jasmine which sank Sunday morning near Hurghada port, according to Egypt Independent.
The Jasmine sank after it collided, Sunday morning, with the Riyadh Ferry which had been carrying 1200 passengers and 40 cars en route to the port of Duba.
The survivors were transferred to Hurghada Public Hospital and placed under medical observation. The rescue team continues to search for the 5 missing crew members.
