Video shows the Torben Spirit, the third of eleven LNG newbuilding vessels powered by M-type, Electronically Controlled, Gas Injection (MEGI) twin engines being built for Teekay LNG Partners in South Korea.
The 173,000 cbm vessel is currently under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard and its delivery is scheduled in 2017.
Two of eleven LNG MEGI newbuildings, the Creole Spirit and the Oak Spirit have already joined Teekay’s fleet and seven more vessels are being built at DSME.
