Shipping Professional Network London
Jeanius Consulting has been announced as a supporting organisation to the Shipping Professional Network London (SPNL) and will provide PR services to support the network as a voice for the youngest members of the shipping community.
The Shipping Professional Network London was founded in 2007 as a meeting place for young shipping professionals and offers a forum for members to network with industry colleagues while promoting London as a financial maritime centre. SPNL enjoys significant industry support, with industry backing from the UK Chamber of Shipping.
Jeanius Consulting is an independent marketing services specialist offering PR, marketing, social media management, business strategy, design and creative solutions. The agency has more than 15 years’ experience in the shipping industry.
Jean Winfield, Managing Director of Jeanius Consulting said: “This is a great opportunity to support the next generation of shipping here in the UK. We are particularly pleased to be working with the SPNL because of the fantastic work they do in providing young shipping professionals the opportunity to forge professional relationships for shipping of the future. The SPNL has quickly established itself a solid reputation amongst organisations which have been around for hundreds of years and we are absolutely delighted to work with them to drive their vision forward.“
Claudio Chiste, SPNL Chairman, said: “With great pleasure we announce the first ever tie-up with a PR agency, who better than with Jeanius Consulting. We look forward to benefitting from the energy and omnipresence of Jeanius, in order to communicate the activities and achievements of the SPNL to a broader audience. SPNL has established itself as the pre-eminent networking forum for young shipping professionals; we look forward to furthering that leadership position for the SPNL brand for the benefit of the London maritime cluster as a whole.“
The next SPNL event is to be held at Norton Rose Fulbright on 24 April and will include guest speaker, John Denholm of Denholm Associates.
