Ecoslops technology is based on five major steps fully integrated
France-based company, Ecoslops , which produces fuels from marine oil residues announced that recycled marine fuels (MDO and IFO 380) fully meet the requirements of the international standard ISO 8217.
Ecoslops has an innovative technology, enabling the transformation of maritime oil residues into recycled marine fuels. Ecoslops technology also meets international standards regarding gas emissions as well as liquid and solid discharges and it is based on five major steps fully integrated.
The analysis conducted by the independent firm SGS who tested samples coming from Ecoslop’s unit operational since 2014 at the Port of Sinès, Portugal. The certification will allow the company to begin pricing its fuels for global sale, with their quality allowing for them to be priced at the higher range of the bunkering market.
