Joining global industry alliance on corporate ocean responsibility
Arctia Shipping, the Finland-based icebreaker owner and operator, has become a member of the World Ocean Council (WOC).
With its headquarters in Finland, Arctia brings extensive maritime experience and expertise in ice and Arctic operations to the WOC and adds significantly to the number of important firms with Arctic activities distinguishing themselves as members of the WOC.
Arctia Shipping’s CEO, Tero Vauraste, commented, “Arctia is pleased to become a member of the World Ocean Council, which provides an important global business leadership alliance on ocean sustainability, science and stewardship.
