An incident at the port of Hamburg.
A Grimaldi ro-ro has hit a pier and a launch at the port of Hamburg.
The 2,500-lane-metre Grande Nigeria (built 2003) struck the structure on the Elbe on Thursday night.
It also was in collision with a launch as it left the port. The smaller vessel suffered damage to its stern.
The ship had two pilots on board. Piers number three to six were closed while the damage was inspected.
